Archive for February, 2010

Last Friday I had the pleasure of shooting Megan & Lyndsi’s senior portraits, they will be graduating Chipley High school in a few months, and they are so excited to be turning the page in life, and starting a new chapter as young adults.

These girls are so amazing and beautiful, I was so excited to shoot my first set of senior twins, and was so shocked by how different they were from each other.. Totally beautiful and amazing in their own way, and both are going to become amazing woman someday.

We started their session in Down town Dothan, but finished up at the beautiful botanical gardens right outside of Dothan AL. Megan was a ham in front of the camera, and had no problem strutting her stuff, Lyndsi was much more shy, and I had to pull her personality out, but wow was I shocked by how much the camera loved both of them..and OMG look at their amazing eyes!!!!!!  I bet their daddy has a few shot guns… lol

SNOW IN FLORIDA!!!

February 12, 2010

Yall I about died when I heard we were going to have snow in FL today!!! I have never seen snow, and I have wanted to play in snow since I was a young child!! well let me tell you it was gorgeous!!! We went out to a local field and I had a blast capturing Abigail experience snow for the first time! She had so much fun, building a snowman with her god-father, and having a snow ball fight with her god-mother.. what amazing memories… I am so going to blow one of these up… Goodness my baby has gotten so big!!! she will be 3 in April, and I just do not know where the time has gone…

Chelsea, is a total sweetheart, she is girly as can be, and so excited to be graduating Marianna High in a few months. She wanted some studio as well as location shots for her senior portraits, so after we got finished with the studio we headed down to Graceville to take advantage of the gorgeous locations down there… It was FREEZING, and of course we had to get shots in a wet field, but her shots were well worth being wet in 40 degree weather.. lol

Chelsea it was great shooting you, i know you will do some amazing things with your life, You have such an amazing personality, and it was a pleasure meeting you.

Spring is in the air… or at least I wish it was.. lol I am so over the cold weather, I am ready for the warm weather to come, so I can start swimming again… This little chunky monkey was so not in the mood to give me many smiles, but She is so gorgeous!!!! I just love her little chunky face…

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

“mom song”

February 5, 2010

Sometimes I come along a song that just rocks my world, and this song is one of them!!! I think all moms can relate to it, when the kids r annoying , and you are busy, all you want to do is scream, but you put on a smile and get threw the day.

So this is to all moms, or anyone who sometimes feels like a monster inside.. lol Turn up your speakers and sing along!!!

Skillet is my favorite band, They are amazing Christians, and love to rock out, what a great combo!!!  To see more of their work go to their website  http://www.skillet.com/enter.php

Look at this babies face… she is such a happy babay… Her house has all carpeting so when she saw my wood floors, she was so amazed she refused to look at me.. lol then we put her on my fur, and she was in heaven… She gave us about 20 minutes before she decided she wanted to take a nap, and literally laid down and fell asleep on set.. lol Babies are so funny, and when they want something you cannot stop them… They will be coming back Saturday morning so finish the session, and I cannot wait to play with her again…

OMG look at this face!!!!! Addison came in for a session tonight, and when I was reviewing the shots I about died when I saw this one!!!! I will edit this session tomorrow, but I just had to edit this one really quick to share!!!! OMG what a FACE!!!!!!! and the Mohawk fits her perfectly!!!

Kaylea  is the first senior of 2010, and what a way to start the senior session. She is such a sweetheart, and has a great head on her shoulders, I wish I was that clear headed at that age. Kaylea will be graduating from Chipley High school soon, and I know she is going to do amazing in college. She is so beautiful inside and out, and OMG can u look at those amazing eyes!!!!! I bet her daddy has a BIG shotgun…

We had a blast shooting her senior portraits, first I stepped in a hole, and twisted my ankle (man it is a funny site to see my big but fall to the ground) after we both stooped laughing we got some amazing shots downtown, then went to a local overgrown field… We had mud up to our ankles, and that darn field was full of prickly weeds (bad idea to wear flip flops…)

I have had so much fun editing her senior portraits today, and even though I am still not done with them, I just had to share a few.

Kaylea, I had such a blast shooting you, you are an amazing young lady, keep your head on straight, and your eyes towards Christ, he will never leave you or lead you astray. I hope you enjoy this sneak peak…
