Laura & John are such a sweet couple, and I had WAY to much fun doing their engagement portraits.. John is a TOTAL clown, and had Laura & I in stitches the entire time. This military couple will tie the knot this fall, and I am over the moon excited for them. We meet up in Dothan AL for their engagement photo shoot, and other then a nasty stray dog that almost was the death of me, the session was flawless.. But heck with these beautiful people, it’s not like my job was very hard.. lol I had a hard time just picking a few to share, and let me just say I have some serious blackmail on John.. hehe the faces he makes while he is telling a joke is PRICELESS…

Cory & Katie | Eufaula Alabama Wedding Photographer

Last weekend I drove out to Eufaula AL for Katie & Cory’s engagement portraits. We started out downtown, and finished up at Cory’s family property. The weather was amazing, a bit chilly, but the fall colors were in full bloom, and I had so much fun spending the morning with them and their adorable little puppy… She was a bit of a stinker, and wanted to go run and play, and not take pictures, but I have to admit I am shocked she sat for us and did not run straight into the lake… lol This gorgeous couple will be getting married next May, and I cannot wait to spend the day with them.

This week I had the pleasure of photographing the Gannuscio family. They moved here a year ago to go to flight school, and they are such a great couple. Their first baby is this adorable bulldog named Bama, he is SO DARN SWEET!!! He is so loveable, and loved to have his back scratched… They are from CA, and wanted their Christmas portraits to have a southern fall feel to them.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Jamie & Gabe’s beautiful wedding with Woodland Fields photography. It took place at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville GA, and from start to finish it was an amazing day. It was the first time I had ever shot at Pebble Hill Plantation, and I have to say it is one of my new favorite locations!!! From the old oak trees, with the moss hanging down, to the beautiful country buildings, everything about this location was pure southern elegance… Jamie & Gabe have recently moved to Dothan, so when you see them around town make sure you say hi, and welcome them to our beautiful little city…

Last winter I had the pleasure 2nd shooting this amazing wedding with F Scott Kennedy Photography. The wedding was held at the family’s vacation property near Marianna Florida, and let me tell you it was GEORGIOUS!!! What an amazing bride & groom! The ceremony was simple and sweet with the forest as a beautiful backdrop, but the reception was one big party! The florist, and coordinator did an amazing job bringing this rustic elegant affair to life.. Everywhere you looked was another beautiful detail! To be honest it was SOOOO hard picking detail shots to post, because there was so many beautiful things.. lol

Kristy & Carl live in North Georgia, but love our beautiful emerald beaches, so they planned a destination wedding. Kristy is an amazing planner! Let me tell you this was the most organized wedding without a wedding planner I have ever photographed.. Kristy planned her wedding from up in Georgia, and we talked all over the phone or via e-mail. When I arrived that day I was blown away with all the love their families had… It was a pure joy to be a part of their special day, and now since I have fallen in love with then, they just have to come down once a year and visit with me… lol

Samantha & Joseph | Dothan Alabama wedding photographer

I first met Samantha and Joseph back in 2010, and I knew from our bridal consult it was going to be a fun day… A few weeks later when we meet up for their engagement portraits in downtown Dothan, I was in photographer’s heaven! They are such a GEORGIOUS couple, totally in love, and boy can Joseph make Samantha laugh.. This beautiful wedding was held at the Dothan Art Museum, and we decided to head downtown Dothan for some fun formals! Let’s just say Joseph had me cracking up all day as well. During the bride and groom formals I asked Joseph to tell a joke and make Samantha laugh… well after he whispered something in her ear they started dyeing laughing, and I just had to know what he said… He gave me this totally adorable look and said he asked her if his whiting toothpaste was working!!! HAHA Only Joseph could get away with something like that.. lol After the ceremony the bride & groom took a carriage ride through downtown, and I had the pleasure of tagging along to capture those first privet moments as husband and wife… it was truly a magical day…

Brittany & Dillon | Dothan AL Wedding Photographer

From the first moment I meet Brittany I knew I was going to enjoy photographing her wedding day! She is so full of energy, and loves to laugh… Brittany & Dillon have been together for 9 years now, and make such a fun couple!!! Their wedding will be at Landmark Park in Oct, and it is going to be quite a fun night!!! We wanted to photograph their engagement portraits in a rugged country setting, to fit their elegant country lifestyle.. Well I tell you they picked the best locations in Abbeville AL. We started off at the family property, then headed out to the creak… well let me say I almost lost my mind!!! As we were headed down to the creak we came across a raddle snake! Now for those of you that do not know me I do not do snakes!!!! OMG Dillon the cowboy he was he took my light stick and scared the snake off so we could pass and shoot at the creak!!! Let me say HE IS CRAZY!!! Haha but I am so glad we went down to the water! What a beautiful location… I have really enjoyed getting to know this couple and their families… and I am really looking forward to the wedding day… If it is anything like the stories I heard about past parties it is going to be a night to remember!!!

Rayne & Scott | Dothan Alabama Engagement Photographer

Ok 2 blog posts in 1 day.. that has to be some kind of record for me.. lol See I told yall I would be better about updating my blog.. lol now to just find time to update my website.. lol I first meet Rayne & Scott at the bridal show in January, and I was so excited that I got to photograph their engagement portraits. They are getting married in 2 weeks, and they are so excited… When I first talked to Rayne about her engagement portraits, she challenged me to get creative and think out of the box.. she really wanted some steamy shots involving paint… when she first told me what she wanted I totally thought of the movie Ghost, where they were working on the clay wheel… so the idea was born and I set out to find the perfect location to get messy with paint. So we started at the botanical gardens for the more formal shots, then headed downtown to a favorite spot of mine, and had a blast!!! The weather kept us worried we were going to get rained out but Praise God the rain waited for us to end our session. We had so much fun we shot right up until dark, and as soon as the lighting started we started ruining.. lol remember I told u I do not do lighting.. lol They both work at the TV station here in Dothan AL, and it was so much fun to work with a creative couple who wanted to do something different, and didn’t mind getting dirty… It got a little steamy at the end of this session, but ill show u some of the more non steamy shots, and leave the rest up to Rayne to post on her facebook.. lol enjoy….

Anastasia & TD are such an amazing couple! I knew within the first 5 minutes of their bridal consult that I was going to have a blast photographing them. They are so much fun, and have such a great sense of humor! We meet up at a local Garden to do their engagement portraits, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! Beautiful weather and a fun couple… It doesn’t get any better than that! I am so looking forward to their wedding this Dec, it is going to be one to remember..
