Last weekend, I shot these adorable twins, they were quite a handful at 6 week sold, but all the work was well worth it for these portraits.. lol
I was excited that I got smiles from both babies…
But she let me know when the session was over… lol

June 28, 2010A few weeks ago I got a frantic call, asking if there was anyway I could squeeze in a newborn. This mom had booked another photographer, and when her appointment time arrived this photographer had moved, and had not informed her clients.. I was so shocked, and horrified for this mom so I rearranged my schedule and fit her in.. And boy am I glad I did.. she was so much fun to shoot, her big brother was the best behaved 3 year old i have ever seen!!!! Seriously, my 3 year old is about to drive me insane, and this little boy just sat there and red books… I seriously need so get some parenting advice from this mom.. lol
Let this be a lesion to everyone.. when booking a photographer make sure you are dealing with a professional, it does not matter if they have a store front or a home studio, check references, and ask to see a copy of their business license. In todays digital world, a lot of untrained, and unprepared photographers are opening up shop, and their clients are paying the price of their lack of experience.

May 14, 2010Goodness, I am so behind on my blog… Life has been a bit crazy lately, and I am so grateful for all my amazing clients keeping me so busy, so I promise to try to do a better job, and get caught up…
This little man’s story just breaks my heart. Right after birth he turned purple, he was rushed to Birmingham hospital where it was discovered that he had a heart defect, He had surgery right away, and praise God he is recovering. He still has some blood clot issues, so we need to keep him in our prayers, but he is one little fighter and I am sure his stubbornness will soon be driving him momma up the wall.. lol
It is stories like this that make me realize how blessed I am to have a beautiful healthy daughter.. It gets hard with my fertility problems, and some days I feel like giving up, but all this sweet babies give me the strength to continue on, and i hope to soon make Abigail a big sister.

April 22, 2010Everyone meet Siena, this little princess was so much fun to photograph. I shot her in my new natural light studio, and she was a little temperamental at first, but once we got her settled down I got some of my favorite shots to date.. Take a look at all her yummy hair!!!!. Her daddy needs to go out and buy a big gun, because this little one is going to be a looker!!! just look at her gorgeous parents!! I cannot wait to see her back in a few months to see how she has grown.

April 9, 2010This pretty princess was so much fun to shoot, she slept great for me, but when she woke up she refused to go back to sleep… But after some hard work, and a 15 min car ride she was passed back out and let us finish up her session. I was excited she let me play with a little natural light for part of her session.. I was also so excited that I was FINALLY able to use my new flower headband on a newborn… OMG SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
This pretty princess is surrounded by so much love.. As soon as I had her set up in her first pose her mom starting crying.. it was so sweet to see the love they share.. It brought me back to the first few days of Abigail’s life… Her sweet smell, and soft noses… It is so crazy to me that tomorrow she will be 3 years old… And she also has a real life hero as a daddy, goodness I love having firemen as clients… lol

March 14, 2010I have been waiting 9 long months to meet this little man!!! Kristy and I went to college together, and she now works with my husband, so when Frank told me she was expecting, I was so excited for her!!! This little man is to cute for words… he totally has the grumpy old man look that I just adore.. lol he was a feisty little one, and went pee all over his mommy, but it made for a fun afternoon.. lol

January 28, 2010This hot momma is pregnant with twin boys!!!! can you believe how amazing she looks!!!! Her maternity took place just a few weeks before the boys were born, and she was all babies.. lol Her maternity portraits were a blast to shoot, but this one was a true favorite of mine.. she looks to regal, and stunning… man I wish I looked this good pregnant.. lol
Now the boys are born, and man they are just o so sweet… They were a bit of a handful, but that is to be expected with twins.. They will be 6 month soon (goodness I know I am so behind in bloging!!!) and I cannot wait to see how much they have grown!

I first met his mom when she was ½ way done with her pregnancy, Laci is so photogenic, and we had a blast at her maternity, and newborn photo shoot… This little man came a little early, and has been so good to his momma.. He is now 6 weeks old and getting cuter by the day! I cannot wait to see him in 6 more weeks for his 3 month photo shoot…
