June 28, 2010You might remember this princess from a few months back. Addison is one of my grow with me babies, so I am so lucky that I get to see her every 3 months.
3 months ago little miss had a small Mohawk, and now her has a big Ole patch of hair on top of her head.. lol it cracks me up to see how different babies grow hair differently.. lol this cute little thing has a total comb over.. For her 9 month session she was totally not interested in taking pictures, she kept giving me silly looks, and ignoring me to eat grass.. lol I guess i am not as entertaining as she thought I was at 6 months old.. lol

June 28, 2010This spring I had a blast shooting Tori & Jamie’s wedding… It was such a great day, with lots of color and laughter.. every detail from the hot pink flowers, to the bridal party dance at the reception was just perfection… Such a fun wedding, and such a fun couple… I cannot wait until this couple add to their family, then I will get to shoot their babies.. lol

McKenzie | High School Senior Portraits
June 28, 2010McKenzie is such a sweet soul. When I first met her I was surprised of her young age, because this young lady is full of wisdom. She will be attending BCF in the fall, and i cannot wait to see what the Lord has planed for her life. She graduated from Tallahassee High School, but we decided to shoot her session here in Chipley… She was a total natural in front of my camera, and I look forward to watching her blossom from this young lady into a mature woman.

May 31, 2010I hope everyone had a safe and fun memorial day weekend.. I know I had a blast!!! We spent the weekend at my moms property right outside of Lake City FL (Itchatuckney *sp hahahaha I have no clue how to spell it.. lol) and it was sjut what I needed to recharge my batteries… Saturday morning I asked my mom to snap a few family portraits since it has been FOREVER since we have gotten one… So I set up my camera settings, set up the reflector, and told my mom how to point and shoot.. lol I have to say I am quite proud… My step dad also grabed the camera and snapped a few.. Here are my 2 favs… one of these I want to blow up for my living room…
Ohhh talking about living room I am SOOOOO excited!!!! after we got back in town today we headed to Dothan to see if we could find any good memorial day sales…. well yall I bought my DREAM living room set!!!! it is GORGEOUS!!!!! and the sell was just amazing… I am so excited, I cannot wait for it to be delivered in 8 weeks!!!! haha so now we have 8 weeks to sell or donate our furniture.. lol anywhoo back to picktures…
Here is my little miss right after family pictures, she was just playing and i am so happy I caught this moment… this is how I see my princess, wild, and free…….
And of course while we were down there I just had to do my nieces 1 year pictures!!! OMG yall she is such a sweet babygirl… I see so much of my sister in her, and that just melts my heart because I just love my sister… I will post more later but here is a sneak peak…

May 19, 2010OK let me just say that I love photographing every child but my own.. lol My princess is the typical photographers child, and HATES having her picture taken… When she sees a camera (even my camera phone) she covers her face, and screams NO MOMMY!!!! lol The faces she gives me just cracks me up….

May 14, 2010Goodness, I am so behind on my blog… Life has been a bit crazy lately, and I am so grateful for all my amazing clients keeping me so busy, so I promise to try to do a better job, and get caught up…
This little man’s story just breaks my heart. Right after birth he turned purple, he was rushed to Birmingham hospital where it was discovered that he had a heart defect, He had surgery right away, and praise God he is recovering. He still has some blood clot issues, so we need to keep him in our prayers, but he is one little fighter and I am sure his stubbornness will soon be driving him momma up the wall.. lol
It is stories like this that make me realize how blessed I am to have a beautiful healthy daughter.. It gets hard with my fertility problems, and some days I feel like giving up, but all this sweet babies give me the strength to continue on, and i hope to soon make Abigail a big sister.

April 10, 20103 years ago today my baby was born.. What a amazing day it was, after a crazy long labor, and a worry filled pregnancy I finally got to hold this little miracle that had been growing in my belly for 9 months. I can still remember the sound of her first cry, and the sweet smell of her skin. She was perfect in every way, she was truly the miracle we had been praying for.
Now as my little baby naps before her big birthday bash, I cannot help but reflect back over the last 3 years, and how she has truly blessed my life. She taught me just how deep Christ’s love is for us, she taught me responsibility, respect, and she inspired me to follow my dreams, and to do things right.. When I became a mother it was no longer about me, but about what I was teaching her. It is crazy to think how how much I have personally grown as a woman, just with having her as inspiration to reach for my dreams.
I remember her first steps like it was yesterday, her first smiles, and her first boo boo. I have been so blessed to have spent this time with her. It pains me when I think about how fast this special time is going by.. Soon she will no longer want to cuddle with mommy, but she will want to talk on the phone with her friends, and then not long after that she will be growing up and starting a family of her own…
SO here is my beautiful princess on her 3rd birthday… I am such a lucky momma…

April 9, 2010This pretty princess was so much fun to shoot, she slept great for me, but when she woke up she refused to go back to sleep… But after some hard work, and a 15 min car ride she was passed back out and let us finish up her session. I was excited she let me play with a little natural light for part of her session.. I was also so excited that I was FINALLY able to use my new flower headband on a newborn… OMG SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
This pretty princess is surrounded by so much love.. As soon as I had her set up in her first pose her mom starting crying.. it was so sweet to see the love they share.. It brought me back to the first few days of Abigail’s life… Her sweet smell, and soft noses… It is so crazy to me that tomorrow she will be 3 years old… And she also has a real life hero as a daddy, goodness I love having firemen as clients… lol

April 8, 2010From the first time I meet Shaunna we just clicked. She is the owner of Colonial Restaurant here In Chipley FL, and OMG can I tell u how good the food is there!!! We started talking about family portraits back in winter, but I am so glad we waited for the spring to do them.. This family i just stunning!!!! I mean come on, straight out of a magazine stunning!!!! They made my job quite easy.. lol She has 3 amazing kids, and they were so sweet…
We met up at Dothan AL Botanical garden’s for their shoot, I have to say this location is probably my favorite place to shoot, so many beautiful spots to shoot. I am dieing to do a wedding here..

And since the kids were so good we decried to end the session with a fun game of tag Miss Nicole.. lol The kids loved it so much as I love these shots!!! lol
