This adorable little man came to see me last month for his one year old portraits. It was the first time I had a baby afraid of my camera, but I shot all of his session more than 10 feet away… lol if I got ANY closer
he would freak out!! Lol He made his mommy and I work hard for his smiles, but he is so darn cute!!!! Such a shy quiet little man… I love this age, when you can first really see the babies personally start to shine.. Some babies go wild and make me chase them around where others just chill and look at me like I’m crazy for making funny noises.. lol His daddy is a Hero stationed at Fort Rucker, so we meet up in Enterprise Alabama for his photo shoot. OMG it cracked me up how he destroyed his cake!! Did a TOTAL face plant!

This pretty princess has grown up way to fast!!! I first meet this amazing family when they came in for their maternity portraits, and i have truly enjoyed watching this little princess grow threw out her first year. She is very lucky to have such amazing parents, with such a strong faith, and a true devotion to her. Its hard to believe she is already a year old!!! man time truly flies, we headed up to the McClay gardens in Tallahassee FL for her session, and she was so good to me, she about lost her mind when we let her destroy her cake in the middle of the walkway… she kept looking at us like we had just lost our minds.. lol I look forward to seeing her in a few months to see how she has grown, and see that little sassy personality start to shine…

Well it is a sad thing… my baby niece has turned one…. Little miss was born on my daughters 2nd b-day, and it is crazy how fast this last year has flown by… She has been a stinker for me since day one… Her newborn session lasted 5 hours, and her 6 month session was like pulling teeth.. lol she is just as stubborn as my daughter, and made me really work for her smiles… it took 2 sessions but I am excited to say I go a beautiful set for my amazing neice… These were taken at my parents gorgeous property… 10 arcs of pure country beauty…

Abigail wanted to join the fun… Hey they share a birthday they can share a cake… lol

3 years ago today my baby was born.. What a amazing day it was, after a crazy long labor, and a worry filled pregnancy I finally got to hold this little miracle that had been growing in my belly for 9 months. I can still remember the sound of her first cry, and the sweet smell of her skin. She was perfect in every way, she was truly the miracle we had been praying for.

Now as my little baby naps before her big birthday bash, I cannot help but reflect back over the last 3 years, and how she has truly blessed my life. She taught me just how deep Christ’s love is for us, she taught me responsibility, respect, and she inspired me to follow my dreams, and to do things right.. When I became a mother it was no longer about me, but about what I was teaching her. It is crazy to think how how much I have personally grown as a woman, just with having her as inspiration to reach for my dreams.

I remember her first steps like it was yesterday, her first smiles, and her first boo boo. I have been so blessed to have spent this time with her. It pains me when I think about how fast this special time is going by.. Soon she will no longer want to cuddle with mommy, but she will want to talk on the phone with her friends, and then not long after that she will be growing up and starting a family of her own…

SO here is my beautiful princess on her 3rd birthday… I am such a lucky momma…

SNOW IN FLORIDA!!!

Yall I about died when I heard we were going to have snow in FL today!!! I have never seen snow, and I have wanted to play in snow since I was a young child!! well let me tell you it was gorgeous!!! We went out to a local field and I had a blast capturing Abigail experience snow for the first time! She had so much fun, building a snowman with her god-father, and having a snow ball fight with her god-mother.. what amazing memories… I am so going to blow one of these up… Goodness my baby has gotten so big!!! she will be 3 in April, and I just do not know where the time has gone…

This morning my little princess was looking so cute sporting her new sweater, so we just had to spend a few minutes in my studio before we headed outside to play and get dirty.. lol Abigail is my life, and is the inspiration behind me first picking up my camera. sadly she is like most photographers children, and she hides her face when I bring out my camera, so I only get portraits done of her a few times a year…

My baby is getting so big! where did my 7.9lb baby go? she is now 40lbs, and 39in tall.. she will be 3 years old in just 3 months, and is talking up a storm, she already counts to 10… I am such a proud momma, but at the same time wish this time would go by just a little slower! Abigail will be starting voluntary pre-K in the fall, and i do not know how I will deal with my baby going to school…

AND OMG can u believe how cute that sweater is!!!! I almost died when I saw it for sale for just 3 bucks!!!!!!! so I bought 3.. lol one in every color…
